Missed waste collections
If your bin is not collected on your normal collection day, please leave it out and we will collect it as soon as possible (including Saturday).
If your bin has not been collected on the original collection day as stated on your calendar, please report your collection as missed using our online reporting system before midday on following day and let us know which waste type has not been collected. Alternatively you can email customerservice@winchester.gov.uk or phone 0300 300 0013.
Please note: We can only return to pick up a missed collection if it is reported by midday the day after your usual collection day.
Assisted bin collection service
Our Biffa crews can provide an assisted collection service for eligible residents who are not able to place their bins/containers out on collection day due to disability, illness or infirmity. The service includes garden waste, glass, food waste, refuse and recycling collections.
The crew will collect your bins/containers (identified with an assisted collection sticker) from an agreed collection point on your property, take them to the vehicle to empty them and then return them to their original location.
