The costs for the year, beginning from the 2 March, are £48 for the 140 ltr bin and £73 for the 240 ltr bin. Paying by annual direct debit is the easiest way to renew and means you don’t need to renew manually each year and we encourage you to use this option for payment. Our prices are the same regardless of how you choose to renew.

If you receive Council Tax Reduction (CTR), you may be entitled to a discount. If this is the case, the annual fee will be:

• £58 for a standard-sized bin
• £33 for a smaller bin

You won’t need to pay any separate costs for the bin.

Please note, you won’t get a sticker for your garden waste bin this year - but don't worry - Biffa’s collection crews will identify households with a valid garden waste licence using their in-cab technology. By making this change, we'll be helping to make your garden waste service more efficient, and saving on the carbon cost of printing stickers in the process! 

If you decide not to renew, your garden waste will not be collected, and arrangements will be made to remove your bin.
