Disability Sport

Together with our partners we are committed to ensuring that there are opportunities for people with disabilities to take part in a variety of structured sports sessions. After the unprecedented success of Paralympics GB in the last few Olympics, we set up the Winchester District Disability Sports Forum. Created to help with the vision of improving opportunities and developing accessible sport and physical activities for disabled people, the forum has been developing its own action plan that links closely to the SPAA Strategy.

We are always looking to develop new activities and support groups to develop and deliver further disability sports opportunities. Please come along to any of the following sessions or e-mail sport@winchester.gov.uk for more information.
