Disability Sport

Together with our partners we are committed to ensuring that there are opportunities for people with additional needs to take part in a variety of structured sports sessions. After the success of Paralympics Games in the last two Games, Winchester City Council created the Winchester District Disability Sports Forum to help with the vision of improving opportunities and developing accessible sport and physical activities. The forum has been developing its own action plan that links closely to the SPAA Strategy.

We are always looking to develop new activities and support groups to develop and deliver further disability sports opportunities. Please come along to any of the following sessions or e-mail sport@winchester.gov.uk for more information.
