Conservation Area Appraisals and Technical Assessments
The Winchester Conservation Area Project contains a Conservation Area Appraisal, Review and Strategy for the Conservation areas in the district. The project was commissioned by Winchester City Council with the support of English Heritage (now Historic England), Hampshire County Council and the City of Winchester Trust.
This project has provided Winchester City Council with a tool for the management of each conservation area within the district. It also provides specific guidance on new development.
Appraisals and technical assessments for the conservation areas can be found on the right hand side of this webpage. Please be aware that some of the files below are quite large and may take some time to download. All files are in PDF format.
