Councillor Allowance & Expenses
Please find full details of the adopted Members Allowances Scheme at Part 6 of the Council’s Constitution.
The adopted scheme is pursuant to the decisions of the meeting of council held on 10 January 2018 and on 15 January 2020.
In making its decision, council had regard to the final reports of the Independent Remuneration Panel (IRP). The IRP is convened in accordance with The Local Authorities (Members Allowances) (England) Regulations (SI 1021) (2003 Regulations). The IRP also convenes to consider an Allowances scheme for Parish and Town Councils as the ‘Responsible Authority’.
