TAG Farnborough Airport proposals

TAG Farnborough Airport has recently engaged in a community and stakeholder consultation on its plans to secure additional ‘controlled airspace’ to enable it to improve its efficiency of operation and to make optimum use of its current planning permission which allows for up to 50 000 air traffic movements per annum. At these altitudes we do not expect these aircraft to present significant noise levels to communities on the ground. However we accept that under these proposals additional aircraft will present cause for concern to the communities of Ropley and Alresford. As such Winchester has submitted a consultation submission outlining its position and which makes four recommendations, more information about these can be found by clicking the 'more' button below. 27 May 2014 More
