Wickham
This area gives you access to various documents that are part of the evidence base for Local Plan Part 2 (LPP2), and which directly concern Wickham. These include reports and studies produced by Winchester City Council or in collaboration with Wickham Parish Council and groups within it. The documents can be downloaded below.
The preparation of LPP2 follows on directly from Local Plan Part 1 (Joint Core Strategy) and includes new or revised development management policies and site-specific development allocations based on Wickham’s needs. City Council officers have worked closely with the Parish Council and its Neighbourhood Planning Steering Group in order to identify these needs and to produce the necessary evidence to justify the new policies and allocations.
As part of this collaborative approach, the City Council and Steering Group undertook an informal consultation with the local community on its proposed development strategy between 17 January - 28 February 2014. An exhibition was held at Wickham Community Centre on 29 January 2014 and the exhibition boards from the event can be viewed in the attachments section at the bottom of this page.
