Winchester Sporting Memories club
Sporting Memories clubs are open to any people over the age of 50 who enjoy reminiscing about their experiences of watching or playing sport. They take place each week in a friendly, welcoming environment – in Winchester this is the Lido building just off Worthy Lane. Many of our members attend to enjoy the company of other older sports fans, some live with dementia or have memory problems, some have experienced depression, they may have had a stroke or live with Parkinson's – but they all have one thing in common, a love for sport! New friendships are forged and some remarkable stories can emerge over a cup of tea! The Winchester club also incorporates gentle physical activities such as Skittles, New Age Kurling and Boccia. Come and join us! The first session is FREE, with weekly subs of just £1.50 thereafter. Refreshments included!
Ticket cost: £1.50 per week
Weekly: each Monday, 10am
Location: Winchester Lido Sports Association, Hyde Church Lane, Winchester, SO23 7DZ
