To apply for a UFEC Gaming Machine Permit, please complete the online application form.

The application fee will vary depending on whether the applicant is an existing operator or new operator, so please refer to the fee chart on the right-hand side of this page.

The application must be accompanied by a plan of the premises.

Once the application is made and validated, the licensing authority will make a decision on whether to grant the application. This decision will be based on whether the application has regard to Winchester City Council's Statement of Principles (Gambling Act 2005) and the promotion of the licensing objectives. 

An application for the renewal of a uFEC permit must be made during the period beginning six months before the permit expires and ending two months before it expires.

The fee to renew a UFEC Gaming Machine Permit is £300.

The licensing authority will have regard to the Statement of Principles (Gambling Act 2005) and the licensing objectives when considering a renewal application.
