Draft Masterplan for Land West of The Dean, Alresford
Policy NA2 (see attachment below) of the emerging Local Plan Part 2 allocates land at The Dean, Alresford for mixed housing and other development.
The allocated area is in multiple ownerships and some owners have submitted planning applications for their sites. Policy NA2 requires, amongst other things, a Masterplan establishing principles for the arrangement of uses, access points and linkages for the whole allocated area to be submitted with each planning application.
The Council has taken the lead in working with the landowners and businesses in the allocated area to develop a single Masterplan.
The Masterplan establishes principles for the arrangement of uses, access points and linkages for the whole allocated area and will enable existing and future planning applications to be determined in a consistent way.
The Draft Masterplan (see attachment below) was the subject of public consultation for a 4 week period which ended at 12.00 noon on Monday 16 January 2017.
