The Winchester District Evidence Base is information collected on key aspects of the social, economic and environmental characteristics of the district, which is used to inform the formation of planning and other policies.

The evidence base is always being improved so please check back to see what has changed and what has been added.

All these documents are relevant to the development of the Local Plan, but the key document that addresses local population change and housing requirements to 2031 is the Housing Technical Paper 2011.
