FREE Access All Areas event coming to Stanmore in August.

A young child wearing a blue t-shirt with the names of planets—Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, and Jupiter—in colorful letters stands on a grassy field. An inflatable slide is visible in the background. An adult with a sunflower headband is partially visible beside the child.

Access All Areas, a free family event for people across the Winchester district, is returning to Stanmore at the end of August.

The event, organised by Winchester City Council, takes place from 11am to 3pm on Friday 29 August at Somers Close Park in Stanmore, and features a variety of activities for children of all ages to take part in.

Activities at the event include an inflatable assault course, crazy golf, face painting and a human football table as well as a stage featuring performances from a variety of acts, including The Voice UK finalist Hannah Williams and a local Ukrainian choir.

Attendees are being encouraged to bring along a picnic to enjoy in a picnic area being specially built by the city council’s housing maintenance contractor Cardo – and food will also be available to purchase on the day from the nearby Carroll centre.

There's no booking required - simply turn up on the day.
