A virtual Book of Condolence is available online on the Buckingham Palace webpages to capture thoughts and memories of the late Duke, and messages of sympathy to the Royal Family.

Wreaths were laid at Abbey House, Winchester on Saturday 10 April. The Mayor of Winchester, Leader of the Council and Chief Executive were present, representing all members and staff of Winchester City Council and all residents of our district.

Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, residents are politely discouraged from laying their own floral tributes at this or other locations.

Instead, members of the public may wish to consider making a small donation to a charity supported by the Royal Family at this time.

The ceremonial royal funeral was held at St George's Chapel, in the grounds of Windsor Castle, at 3pm on Saturday 17 April.
