Exhibition of a replacement surgery for the St Clements Practice
An exhibition of the proposed new surgery will be on display at the Guildhall, Winchester on 20 November 1.30 - 6pm and 21 November 10.00am -12.00pm.
The purpose of this exhibition is an opportunity to view the emerging designs for the new surgery. The architects will be on hand to answer any questions.
The original scheme on the site of the Upper Brook Street car park received planning approval in 2012 but this planning expired earlier this year. The replacement surgery is closely based on the previously agreed design but incorporates some changes to reflect the current needs of the practice.
Cllr Stephen Godfrey, the Leader of Winchester City Council, said:
I’m pleased to announce that councillors agreed at the Cabinet meeting on 17 September to proceed with the new surgery.
Local architects Architecture PLB have been working on the design of the purpose built primary care facility plus pharmacy with the doctors and the local NHS.
