Cllr Rob Humby, Winchester City Council’s Deputy Leader and Portfolio Holder for Strategic Planning, said:
This project has been inspired by discussions within the Stanmore community, and is very much led by local people. The City Council already invests significant officer time and finance in Stanmore: by planning potential future improvements in one place like this, we can ensure that these resources - and those of the County Council and other agencies working in the area - are deployed in the most effective and co-ordinated way. This approach encourages thinking that is bold and ambitious.
