City Council launches new-look website
A new-look interactive website www.winchester.gov.uk has been launched by Winchester City Council.
"The new site should allow visitors to find answers to any questions they have about local services," said Cllr George Hollingbery, Deputy Leader and Cabinet portfolio holder for performance and communications.
"From advice about local doctors to information on how to make a planning application or sign your child up to a particular school, the answers you're looking for should be there.
"Sometimes the answer will be that the City Council is responsible. Sometimes you'll be directed to the correct information on another organisation's website like the County Council or the local hospital. Wherever you end up, you should know what to do next to get what you want.
"Crucially, we need to know if your enquiry isn't answered, so please can I ask people to use the online feedback form to let us know what changes we need to make to get it right for the next user."
