Winchester and District Fundraisers Day

Winchester City Council Community Services, in partnership with Winchester Area Community Action (WACA), have organised an event for voluntary and community organisations across the District on funding and fundraising.

This free event, to be held on 18 October 2004 in the Guildhall at Winchester, offers access to workshops and display stands on a whole range of funding issues.

There will be workshops hosted the new Lottery Funding distributor - The Big Lottery Fund, Awards for All, Connexions, Winchester Community Safety Partnership, The Local Network Fund as well as the City Council. There are also workshops on the skills and techniques of fundraising.

Display stands and representatives from a wide range of funding and support organisations will also be in attendance to offer information and advice, as well as one-to-one specialist advice sessions from Awards for All and Business Link Wessex (on social enterprise).

Places on the workshops and one-to-one sessions must be booked in advance.
