Tenant Voice Panel

Your voice, experience and perspective matter.

We're launching a new Tenant Voice Panel to give tenants and residents a stronger voice in shaping and improving our Housing and Landlord Services.

We want the Panel to reflect the diverse communities we serve and bring together people with different backgrounds, experiences, perspectives and circumstances.

Panel members will act as independent tenant voices and advocates, helping us scrutinise our Housing and Landlord Services through an Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) lens. This means looking at how our services, policies and decisions affect different people and communities, identifying where things may not be working fairly or equally, and helping us find ways to improve.

You do not need to speak on behalf of a particular community or have specialist knowledge of EDI. Your own experience, perspective and ideas are what matter. By working together, the Panel can help us see things from different viewpoints and make sure that the needs of the people we serve are considered.

Your experiences are unique, and they matter. Your voice can help us challenge, influence and improve the way we deliver our services.

On this page, you can find out more about the Tenant Voice Panel, how you can get involved and what the Panel has been working on.

About the Tenant Voice Panel

The Tenant Voice Panel is a group of around 10–12 tenants and residents who share a common goal: helping to make our Housing and Landlord Services better for everyone.

The Panel brings together people with different backgrounds, experiences, perspectives and circumstances. A key part of its work is helping us understand how our services affect different people and communities and where we can improve equality, diversity and inclusion.

As a panel member, you can help us understand:

  • What is working well
  • What could be better
  • What needs to change
  • How services could work better for different people

You may have opportunities to get involved at different stages – from helping to shape new ideas and services to reviewing how they are delivered and whether they are making a difference.

The Panel also gives tenants and residents an opportunity to hold us, as your landlord, to account. You can ask questions, challenge decisions, raise concerns and help make sure tenant experiences are considered when decisions are made.

The Panel will meet approximately once a month, at a convenient time and in a way that works for its members. Meetings may be face-to-face or online, giving everyone flexibility to take part.

Together, we can turn tenant voices into meaningful action and improvements.
