Description
Join one of Winchester’s professional guides for a 90 minute walking tour, starting at Winchester Visitor Information Centre. Cross the bridge that once spanned the Chesil railway, then climb the hill for a view of Winchester’s history. Admire the beautiful Paula Moran Seat, see a house with a majestic coat of arms, and learn about the Saxon skeletons discovered on its grounds. There are steep slopes and steps around St. Giles’ Hill which makes this tour unsuitable for wheelchairs. Please wear suitable footwear.
