Join one of Winchester’s professional guides for a 90 minute walking tour, starting at Winchester Visitor Information Centre. This companion tour to The Lockburn on 25th July and Hidden Waterways on 15th August focuses on the River Itchen northwards from the city centre, exploring the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust’s Winnall Moors Nature Reserve. Find out where the elephants used to bathe, learn about the lost Durngate Mill and experience the spring birdlife and nature in the reserve. This walk finishes opposite the Willow Tree pub. Please wear sensible footwear. Dogs, except assistance dogs, are not permitted in the nature reserve.
