Description

Taking place on various dates throughout August, each week’s craft activity will have a brand new theme and is based on mythical creatures found in the Cathedral. At the end of the session you’ll have created your own souvenir and enjoyed a story time in the beautiful surroundings of the cathedral’s North Transept. Please note that the artwork may still be wet when the workshop finishes so you may want to bring something to take it home in.
Winchester Cathedral have planned for this activity to last an hour, which includes time for an introduction, time to listen to a story and time to wash hands at the end. Some children may be finished before the end of the session, so if you wish to leave before the end, that is not a problem. Please note that activities are subject to change. All workshops are suitable for ages 3-11.
Workshops will be taking place on the following dates at 10:00am - 11:00am and 11:15am - 12:15pm:
Tuesday 5th August – Wyverns
Wednesday 13th August – Pegasus
Thursday 28th August – Green Man
