Description

A glorious anthology of poetry, prose and songs, delivered by five versatile professional performers, on the theme of gardens and the gardeners who tend them. From Gertrude Jekyll to Pam Ayres, from An English Country Garden to The Secret Garden, from the lyrical to limericks, this is a flowerbed full of delights. Guests attending the evening will be also invited to an pre-performance drink and exclusive viewing of the exhibition: Gardens, Landscapes & Horticulture in Art in the Milner Hall just 2 minutes along the street from the Winchester Royal Hotel. The special viewing runs from 5pm - 7pm where you can also meet the artists and enjoy a rare opportunity to see inside this converted chapel. The hotel bar will be open all afternoon and evening.
