Join one of Winchester’s professional guides for a 90 minute walking tour, starting at Winchester Visitor Information Centre. The history of Winchester’s toilets to celebrate UN World Water Day on 22nd March and UN World Toilet Day on 19th November. How did Winchester deal with its waste? From the monks and merchants of the Middle Ages to the Muckabites of the Victorian Era, see a side of Winchester that is not often explored! A donation from the ticket price will be made to the WaterHarvest charity (No. 1127564).

Tickets can be bought through the website or in person on the day at the Visitor Information Centre if still available.
