Mother Tongue Poetry Evening: A celebration of languages at their most beautiful Learning Rooms at The ARC, Jewry St, Winchester Tues 14th May 2024 | 6-8pm Winchester Poetry Festival and Bridges Not Borders invite you to share your languages in a session of creativity, collaboration and performance.
A creative evening and meet people from different cultures, celebrate their languages and share your own! Write poems inspired by multi-cultural poets. Write a collaborative poem uniting the languages in the room. Share work by a poet you love or read us a poem you've written in your mother tongue.
No previous experience of poetry required. Speakers of all languages encouraged to attend. FREE at attend, suitable for all ages and abilities. Please reserve your free ticket if you plan on coming. This event is supported by Winchester City Council and The ARC.
