Join author of ‘Adventures In Nature’, Dawn Nelson for a day of nature journaling and folklore at the Wakes. In the morning there is the opportunity to get to know the gardens and grounds whilst listening to excerpts from Gilbert White’s journals while exploring the nature and folklore of the spring garden. The afternoon  will start to then build or add to your very own nature journal, discover ways to ‘watch narrowly’, and observe the ebb and flow of the seasons and  look at techniques that keep you journaling, the different ways you can record the nature you encounter each day and take inspiration from famous nature journalers across the ages, from Edith Holden to Clare Walker Leslie. This workshop is ideal for all levels of Nature Journaler, whether you’re new to recording seasonal observations or you are an experienced Journaler looking for new inspiration.
