Description

Winchester Film Society are showing the acclaimed British documentary “Last Breath” on Tuesday 4 February at 8.00pm at the Winchester Science Centre. On some occasions, and this is one of them, true stories are better than fiction. This is a one off chance to “feel the pressure” of real divers in deep trouble. Some critics have termed the film a “documentary thriller” as you become fully immersed in the diver’s watery prison. To bring the realism even closer Winchester Film Society are delighted to welcome Alex Parkinson the film’s director to introduce their film and take part in a question and answer session after the showing. Given a favourable tide one of the pressure divers involved in the incident will also be present to give insights into the life of the highly skilled set of individuals that look out for each other whatever the danger. This is an uplifting roller coaster real life potential disaster movie experience you do not want to miss. Tickets are £8 and available via the Winchester Film Society website at: http://www.winchesterfilmsociety.co.uk/single-tickets/
