Act Too (
Act Too is Sutton Scotney’s Community Theatre Group who produce and perform pantomimes, calling on the local folk of Sutton Scotney and surrounding villages to be the cast and crew.

Blue Apple Theatre  (
Inclusive acting, dance, singing and film opportunities for people with learning disabilities.

Chesil Theatre (
Chesil Theatre is Winchester’s leading amateur theatre, renowned for performing high quality productions, ranging from comedy to classics.

Chesil Youth Theatre (
The Chesil Youth Theatre consists of two groups: Juniors (School Years 4-7) Meeting on Mondays and Seniors (School Years 8-13) Meeting on Wednesdays. Both groups meet weekly in term time, working on every sort of theatre skill, building friendships and working towards an annual performance. 

Curdridge Amateur Drama Group (
CADG is a very friendly amateur drama group, based at the Reading Rooms, Curdridge. CADG puts on two productions a year, a mixed repertoire of comedy and drama with an occasional panto and musical.

Curtain up! Productions (
Founded in 1933 in the village of Denmead, a friendly, award-winning theatre group who enjoy performing a diverse selection of musicals, comedies, concerts and murder mysteries.

Dance Energy (
Established in 1995, Dancenergy offers classes in Ballet, Jazz, Freestyle, Line Dance, Cheer Dance, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, AcrobaticArts and Dance Fitness. As well as classes in Weeke there are opportunities to take part in shows, IDTA exams, public performances, as well as nationally acclaimed ADFP/IDTA/FESTIVAL competitive squad.

Encore Youth Theatre (
Award-winning ENCORE Youth Theatre are based in Winchester and specialise in all aspects of musical theatre. 

Florian School of Dance (
The school offers classes in RAD ballet, ISTD tap and modern theatre, jazz and contemporary for children and adults.

Gallows Productions (
Gallows Productions was established in 2013 to provide unconventional and provocative theatre that challenges audiences, whilst bettering their artist’s experience and confidence within the theatre industry.

Hampshire Music Service (
The Music Service's commitment is to give every child a chance to participate, enjoy and achieve by making music together.

Integr8 Dance (

Lewis Allsopp School of Dancing (
Modern, ballet & tap lessons for both children and adults, taught at the Osbourne School.

Micheldever Variety Group (
An enthusiastic group of amateur actors who love to put on lots of different shows, from murder mysteries to pantomime. Based in Micheldever.

Move Momentum (
Weekly dance classes for young people aged 11-16, over 65s and wheelchair users. 

Open Access Music Studio (
Open Access Music Studio is housed in a professionally designed, detached building. Recording singer-songwriters / bands / Instrumentalists. Mixing, CD authoring, streaming.

Perform (
Perform use a unique mix of drama, dance and singing - specially developed and written by them - to bring out every child's true potential. Classes for 4-7s and 7-12s in Winchester.

Platform 4  (
Platform 4 is an artist led company that creates playful and unexpected worlds in which performers and participants can explore their creativity and the things that matter to them.

Platform School of Dance (
Classes for both adults and children in Street, Latin American, Ballroom and Freestyle.

Play to the Crowd (
Play to the Crowd is an arts and education charity in Winchester, inspiring people to connect with and participate in live performance.

RicNic Hampshire (
Every year, RicNic gives dynamic groups of 16-22 years olds across the country the opportunity to stage a full-scale musical, taking full responsibility for every role on and off the stage. 

Roynon Performing Arts (
Over 20 genres of dance, music and drama classes available for all ages and abilities (2YO - 70+). Also run exams, workshops, After School Clubs and Holiday Camps. Great for wellbeing, making friends and progression in the arts. Est 1981. 

Stagecoach (
Stagecoach Winchester offer singing, dance and drama classes for children ages 4 – 18.

Swan Samba (
Fusion samba band based in the Winchester district, offering adult classes, school and corporate workshops and performances. All ages, abilities and performance / workshop enquiries welcome! 

Swanmore Amateur Dramatic Society (
Live theatre by the community for the community. Based at Swanmore Village Hall.

The Bryetts School of Dance  (
Weekly classes for children in Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz. Ballet for adults also available.

The Cheriton Players (
Local amateur theatre based in Hampshire, with a great reputation for comedy.

The Crawley Players (
Fun loving, am-dram group based in Crawley Village.

The Discarded Nut Theatre Company (
Discarded Nut Youth Theatre exists to support young people at every stage of their development as both performers and individuals. DNYT offers classes in acting and musical theatre for young people aged 4-25

The Friends of Music in Winchester (
The Friends of Music in Winchester is a charity aimed at giving financial help to young people in Hampshire, enabling them to take part in musical activities at all levels of competency, in schools, colleges or other organisations, either in a group or as an individual. The group provides small grants to assist young people resident in Hampshire with music tuition fees and/or the purchase of instruments. 

The Nutshell (
A vibrant, safe and welcoming space facilitating opportunities for local creatives, young people, emerging talent and members of the community.

The Railway Inn (
The Railway Inn is Winchester’s Music Venue, featuring comedy nights, poetry nights, regular film screenings and youth projects. They have two venues, plus a bar that’s open every day, and a large covered garden.

The Soberton Players (
Soberton Players has been producing first class productions in the Meon Valley villages of Soberton and Newtown for more than 20 years. They stage two main productions a year in Soberton Village Hall: a comedy or drama in March or April, and a pantomime or musical show at the end of November.

The Worthy Players (
The Worthy Players is the amateur dramatics group for the Worthies in Winchester. This includes Kings Worthy, Headbourne Worthy, Abbots Worthy and Martyr Worthy.

Theatre Royal Winchester (
A beautiful 400 seat Edwardian Style Auditorium, a Café Bar and meeting rooms in the heart of Winchester.

UpBeat Drum Academy (
UpBeat Drum Academy offers drum lessons in and around the Winchester area.

Upham Players (
A friendly, village drama group based in Upham. Members are from both the village and the surrounding area, including Fair Oak, Bishopstoke, Bishop’s Waltham, Swanmore and Wickham. Established in 1978 performing a variety of theatre, from pantos and variety shows to serious plays.

Wessex Dance (
Wessex Dance Academy is changing lives through dance, giving confidence and self-esteem to young people in Hampshire who really need it.

Wet Picnic  (

Winchester Chamber Orchestra (
WCO is a lively community orchestra in Winchester that performs a wide variety of works. They perform two classical concerts each year,  plus occasional 'mini matinees' of short excerpts and a concert specifically themed for children.

Winchester City Dance (
Offer Ballet and Contemporary for children and adults, including optional exams for everyone.

Winchester Music Club (
Winchester Music Club is one of Hampshire’s longest established choral groups, dating back to 1925. A friendly choir of about 100 who rehearse for two terms a year – from September to November, and from January to March/April.

Winchester Musicals and Opera Society (
WMOS is an inclusive membership society, performing a full range of musicals, operetta and light opera

Winchester Theatre Arts (
Specialists in dancing, singing and acting for the stage for ages 3-18, based in Kings Worthy.

Winnall Rock School (
WRS provide accessible music making opportunities and support the wellbeing of young people, particularly during their adolescent years. We use music to develop their talents, social skills and help cope with life’s hurdles.
