Public Sector Apprenticeship Target report

The public sector apprenticeships target was introduced by government in April 2017 and sets a target for any public sector employer in England with 250 or more staff to employ at least 2.3% of staff headcount as new apprentice starts over the period 1 April 2017 to 31 March 2022.

Apprentice starts can include new recruits employed as apprentices during the time period or existing staff who undertake an apprenticeship as part of their career development.

Below is a summary of the data sumbitted to the Department of Education for Winchester City Council for the period 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022.
