TACT (Tenants and Council Together )
We are an independent group of tenants and leaseholders working in partnership with Winchester City Council.
TACT stands for Tenants and Council Together. We were formed in 1995 and are Winchester City Council's district-wide tenant and leaseholder forum. TACT includes representatives from Tenants' Associations, volunteers, senior council officers and elected Members of the Council and meets on the third Wednesday of each month.
We have two meetings on that day so that all tenants and leaseholders can attend if they want to. One group meets in the afternoon from 2pm - 4pm and the other meets in the evening from 7.30pm - 9.30pm in The Common Room, Godson House, Lawn Street, Central Winchester. Each group has a separate Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Secretary, elected annually by the group.
