Decarbonising Transport Open Forum - book your place
Join Winchester City Council for an online Open Forum this month discussing Decarbonising Transport in the Winchester District.
The council has set a target to be a carbon-neutral district by 2030 and in its own activities by 2024.
Presentations and discussions will consider the role that active travel and public transport can play, and you’ll hear about low carbon bus travel and an update on Hampshire County Council’s Local Transport Plan 4.
Speakers include representatives from Sustrans, Stagecoach and Hampshire County Council (TBC).
The event, which will take place on Monday 29 January from 6.30pm – 8pm, will be chaired by the Cabinet Member for the Climate Emergency. It is one of the council's regular Open Forum events at which there is an opportunity for discussion and to submit questions to the council for answer.
