Final countdown to Winchester Fashion Week
The city is preparing to become a fashion capital next week as Winchester Fashion Week takes to venues across the city with a colourful programme of catwalk shows, frock swaps, workshops, lectures and exhibitions.
Winchester Fashion Week is a new event for 2011 designed to celebrate fashion and local creative talent across the district. The event has been created and produced by a team of entrepreneurial students.
Highlights include an appearance from Wayne Hemingway at Winchester Discovery Centre on Tuesday 19 July and a Frock Swap on Wednesday 27 July.
One spectacle not to be missed will be the Cirque Du Fashion Show at the Guildhall Winchester. Running for an epic three nights of Winchester Fashion Week (28, 29 and 30 July), this will be a catwalk show to envy the Big Tops. Expect to be wooed by our clan of dreamy models, acrobats, clowns, harlequins and dancers, with clothes by local students and designers. So don’t forget to buy your tickets before they sell out.
