Active Community Project Grants Available
Winchester City Council’s ‘Active Community Project Grant Scheme’ aims to provide ‘one off’ awards for community buildings improvements, including disabled adaptations, and ‘pump priming’ for other community and voluntary sector projects that serve people living in the Winchester District.Cllr John Cooper, Winchester’s Deputy Leader & Portfolio Holder for Communities said, "Our Active Community Project Grant Scheme gives the City Council an opportunity to engage with and support organisations that provide a range of vital services at the heart of our communities. We are very pleased to announce the latest round of grants and encourage community and voluntary sector organisations, including those who manage community buildings to get in touch with us to see if we can help fund their ideas and projects"
Applicants must meet the basic criteria which are based on Winchester City Council's corporate priorities. Details are included in the application pack.
This grant scheme is for awards over £500. Applications for smaller amounts should be made to the Council’s Small Grants Scheme.
