Think Cirque du Soleil with less acrobatics and more appliqué

Where else can you mingle with the Mayor while tasting the newest cocktail in town?

The Winchester Fashion Week Team with the Mayor at the Launch of Winchester Fashion Week.  Will take place on Monday 24th January at 7.15pm at Plain and Fancy, Winchester, just before the official launch party at 8pm.

The Official Launch of the remarkable week will take place at the fabulously chic Plain & Fancy, Winchester.  The night to launch all nights is taking place on Monday 24th January, at 8pm.  It will hold host to circus tricks, cocktails and fashion galore.  This is the perfect opportunity to meet the Winchester Fashion Week Team and get the inside information on one of the biggest events on this year’s calendar.

Launching the party will be the Mayor, Cllr Richard Izard.   As previously stated there will be a photo opportunity prior to the event.  Throughout the night there will be characters from the Cirque du Fashion to provide information about this event.  There will also be the launch of the new cocktail to grace Plain and Fancy.  It is inspired by Winchester Fashion Week and is so aptly name.  Just another reason to attend.

The Launch will provide you with just a glimpse of how exciting and new the Fashion Week will be.  There will be entertainment galore so “Roll Up, Roll Up…” and we will see you there.

Winchester is set to join the high end names such as Milan, London & New York with their Cirque du Fashion themed week.   The week will be filled with activities involving the local and regional communities and will finish with a catwalk show to envy the Big Tops.  The week will take place between the 25th to 31st July 2011.

The Fashion week will involve something for each creative mind.  From the workshops which will include French Knitting, Contemporary Art and Design, T-Shirt Customisation and Jewellery Making; to the lectures on Edwardian Fashion, Careers in Fashion, and Digital Textiles there is not a second to be missed.
