Wednesday market blends local and exotic produce
On Wednesday 7th April, Winchester’s new Produce and Growers Market will be offering some intriguing treats for market-goers.
As well as the usual selection of local produce, shoppers will be able to enjoy a special barbecue offering pork and, for those wishing to try something new, alligator and ostrich meat. There will also be some more exotic food on offer such as Moroccan sauces, Spanish paella, Indian & Thai sauces, and a range of South African produce.
Play Radio will be broadcasting live from the market on the day, so why not go along and enjoy the sights, smells, and sounds of Winchester’s new market.
The Produce and Growers Market, takes place in Upper Brook Street every Wednesday between 9am and 4pm.
