Consultation Forum for West of Waterlooville Major Development Area (Grainger Land)

A consultation forum will be held jointly by Havant Borough Council and Winchester City Council on Thursday 24 June 2010 to discuss a proposal for the major part of West of Waterlooville Major Development Area.

The event, being held in the Civic Offices at Havant Borough Council, will discuss the proposal for 2,550 homes including up to 40% affordable housing, 2 primary schools, leisure facilities, cricket pitch, multi use games area, multi use sport pitch, youth shelter, skate park, allotments, community centre, health centre, cemetery, employment, children's play areas, public open space, bus service and woodland walks.

Developers will be given the opportunity to present their proposals to Councillors of Havant Borough Council, Winchester City Council and Hampshire County Council and local amenity groups. Officers from all three councils will also be attending.

Members of the public are encouraged to attend the forum being held in the Council Chamber at 6pm to listen to the debate, with the option of completing feedback forms with their individual comments at the end of the meeting.
