Winchester Food and Produce Show
After the success of last year’s event, the Winchester Food and Produce Show is returning to the Winchester Guildhall on 25th July 2010.
This years show promises to be even bigger and better than the last. It will incorporate local restaurants, cafes, hotels and produce suppliers; and will also host a fantastic food demonstration area. Last year, over 2,300 visitors attended the show and an even larger number of visitors is expected to enjoy this year’s show.
The free event is aiming to complement the Hampshire Farmer’s Market which takes place on the same day. The Winchester Food and Produce Show will also include free food and drink tasting sessions, and will place a big emphasis on local and fresh produce from Winchester and the surrounding districts.
The event is part of The Hampshire Food Festival and has been organised in association with Hampshire Fare, Friends of King Alfred’s Buses, Winchester City Council, Winchester BID and Wave105.
The food show will be the last official event to take place in the King Alfred Hall before it undergoes a full-scale refurbishment over the summer.
