Change to Public Notices

Winchester City Council’s weekly Public Notices have now moved to the Mid Hampshire Observer. The paper is published every Thursday and is now available from various outlets across the whole Winchester District. It is also delivered free to many homes in central Winchester.

The Council’s weekly Public Notices include details of developments around the District such as planning applications, road closures, and changes to parking charges..

The City Council wants to keep people informed of what is happening in their area and in other parts of the District. We therefore advertise details in the Mid Hampshire Observer each week so that residents can keep up-to-date with any changes that might affect them.

The new agreement, which followed a formal tendering process, means that the City Council’s Public Notices will no longer appear in the Hampshire Chronicle.

Here are just a few places around the District where you can get a copy of the Mid Hampshire Observer:

Badger Farm Sainsbury’s
Winnall Tesco
Alresford Tesco Express
Cheriton Post Office
West Meon Petrol Station
Droxford Post Office
Denmead Village News
Whiteley Meadowside Leisure Centre
Wickham Pages of Wickham
Bishops Waltham Spar
Owlesbury The Ship
Colden Common The Brambridge Shop
Twyford Post Office and Stores
Hursley Post Office

Public Notices are also online
