Progress for Silver Hill development scheme
On 22 October 2009 The City Council and Thornfield Properties completed the update to the Development Agreement for the Silver Hill Renaissance. The requirement for the update and the terms were agreed by Cabinet on the 18 November 2008.
The Council has also completed the agreement to lease the Upper Brook Street car park to Thornfield Properties. This will provide the opportunity for the relocation of the St Clements surgery to new purpose built premises in the town centre. The site will remain in use as a car park until development of the surgery starts, which is expected to be at some point in 2010.
