Sustainable Business Awards 2008
Winchester City Council wants to encourage sustainable business across the district. The Sustainable Business Awards 2008 offer a great opportunity to showcase your business.
Sustainable business doesn't have to be difficult. Many businesses find that sustainability is already an everyday part of their operation. Perhaps you don't even think about the little things you do, such as paper recycling, or donating to local charities. Customer demand for companies to be green has never been greater, and you can boost your environmental credentials and make sure your business is recognised as an ethical company by winning a Sustainable Business Award
The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Sustainable Business Awards 2008 celebrate the best of local business. The Awards seek to recognise and reward companies in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight which are taking positive steps to improve their social, environmental and economic impacts.
Is your business a good place to work? Do you save energy and recycle? Does your business support the local economy? Do you have a good green story to tell?
To enter for the awards, all you have to do is explain, in under 300 words, why you should qualify for a Sustainable Business Award. The winners will collect a stunning trophy at a gala ceremony on the 21 November at the De Vere Grand Harbour Hotel, Southampton. Details of past winners can be viewed at the Sustainable Business Partnership website.
