Pay to Park Online
Winchester City Council has just introduced online parking payment facilities so customers can buy or renew season tickets without leaving their homes.
Season Cards for Pay on Foot car parks, and Pay and Display Season Tickets can be bought or renewed, new Park & Ride smart cards can be purchased, and the Environmentally Friendly Vehicle discount Season Tickets can also be renewed.
Customers just need their debit card or credit card to hand, as well as any existing numbers for tickets or cards they wish to renew.
The City Council's Parking Manager Basil Davies said: "By taking the step to provide this service online we hope to make it easier and quicker for customers, as they will no longer have to visit our offices.
"We intend to add further options to the online facility in the near future, as part of our ongoing dedication to improving access to our services."
