Netball and football at Meadowside
Following the success of last year's netball tournament, Meadowside Leisure Centre at Whiteley, which is run by Winchester City Council, has decided to make it an annual event.
The Netball challenge is open to all women over the age of 16 years, the cost is £10.00 per team and if anyone would like more information they should contact Priya Samuel, Netball Development Officer, on 01962 846 032.
The Leisure Centre is also holding a 6 - a - side football challenge on 16 July for players over 18. The team entry fee is £35.00 and teams must be registered by 30 June.
A 6-a-side league at £14.00 per game is also being held and teams must enter by 19 May. For more information on both of the football events please contact Matt Richards on 01489 577 464.
