Are you a budding basketball player?
Winchester City Council is offering budding basketball players in the District the opportunity to be involved in this year's Hampshire Youth Games.As part of the build up to the games, which take place on Saturday 24 June in Aldershot, Winchester City Council is running a 10-week coaching programme for boys & girls in school years 7 & 8 who wish to be involved. The coaching sessions will enable the young people to develop their skills and learn from professional coaches whilst preparing them for taking part in the games.
The 10-week coaching programme starts on Friday 21 April, at the University of Winchester and will commence with a girls session at 3.45pm - 5.15pm and the boys session from 5.15pm - 6.45pm. Any boys or girls who live or go to school in the district and are interested are welcome to attend.
