Voluntary and Community Sector Grants 2006/07
Winchester City Council is inviting applications for its capital and revenue grants programme for 2006/07, with December deadlines for the receipt of the applications.
Community Capital Grants
The capital grants scheme provides support to a range of community buildings which provide services to the residents of the Winchester District. Capital grants cover physical building improvements, including disabled adaptations, and major equipment purchases.
All applicants must meet the basic criteria which are based on the City Council's corporate priorities, details of which are included in the application pack.

The deadline for the submission of applications for capital grants in 2006/07 is 4pm Friday 16 December 2005. No applications will be accepted after this date.
Community Revenue Grants
Over the last 7 years the Community Grant programme has awarded over £3m in revenue funding to a wide range of organisations and groups across the Winchester District.
The scheme provides support to voluntary and community organisations delivering support and services to the residents of the Winchester District. In 2006/07 new criteria and policy priorities will be in place focused on delivering the Community Strategy and the City Council's Corporate Priorities.
Application packs will be available from 13 October 2005. To request an application pack please email grants@winchester.gov.uk or ring 01962 848 582 - please note that the application pack will not be issued earlier than that date. From 13 October details will also be available on the City Council's website - www.winchester.gov.uk - via the Grants & Funding pages.
