E-payments for Museums publications
Winchester City Council will soon be offering a 24-hour secure Internet payment service to buy its Museums publications by debit or credit card.
The City Council already offers internet payments for other services, including council tax, business rates, parking penalty charge notices and general invoices. The Museums Service is now making the most of the technology to increase awareness of their heritage publications of Winchester and the District.
Cllr. Therese Evans, the City Council's Portfolio Holder for Culture, Heritage and Sport said, "As we're heading towards the Christmas season, these publications would make distinctive presents and the Museum Service is hoping to increase the range of items for sale in the near future."
