Meet Jane Austen at the City Museum

Jane Austen's life and times in Winchester will be presented by actors from Bordon's Phoenix Theatre Company at the City Museum on Saturday 2 April.

The performances will be fun and interactive, so if you think Jane Austen's writing is dry and boring come along to the sessions and be pleasantly surprised!

During her time in Winchester Jane Austen stayed in College Street, not far from the City Museum, where today the Museum's Winton Gallery houses a small collection of Jane Austen memorabilia, including a poem handwritten by her while she was living in the City.

Performance times on 2 April are 11am, 12noon, 1pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm. Admission is free and no booking is required.
