Changes at Council reception area
The main reception area at Winchester City Council's Colebrook Street offices is being temporarily relocated from early April so that work can begin on a new Customer Service Centre.
Main reception and benefits reception will be based on the first floor in Colebrook Street for about 8 weeks, with the entrance to the offices being to the left of the existing main entrance, which will be closed off.
During the building work members of the customer services team will meet visitors to the offices and assist those with prams or in wheelchairs, as the main ramp leading to the offices will also be closed. For those that require it there is an alternative way into the offices, and a lift to the first floor.
In the two weeks before work starts, customers will be handed a leaflet explaining the changes.
