Drop in and Draw Day

Budding young artists are invited to drop in to the Guildhall Gallery in Winchester to create their own works of art on the theme of exploring landscapes.

A local artist will be on hand with ideas and tips to help visitors draw their very own landscape, and real works of art will be on show for inspiration. At the end of the day, artwork can be taken home or left on display in the Gallery for others to admire during Half Term week.

The Drop in and Draw day will take place on Saturday 12 February, from 10am-5pm at the Guildhall Gallery in the Broadway, Winchester.

Just drop in any time during the day and join in. Admission is free and all materials are provided. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

The event has been organised by Winchester City Council's Museums Service to tie in with this year's Winchester Children's Festival. On display at the Gallery will be works by the InscapeArt group of contemporary artists.
