Help set "A Vision for Winchester"

Winchester residents can help shape the future of the town when the Town Forum discusses "A Vision for Winchester" on Thursday 4 November.

Town Forum Chairman Cllr Ray Pearce is asking residents to look at some of the key projects which will help maintain Winchester as an important County town. "Views will be particularly welcome on where you think our priorities should lie - heritage, business, culture, education, housing, shopping, leisure?" he added.

"By asking ourselves what sort of a town do we want, have we got the balance right and what do we need in the future, we can start putting the flesh on the Vision, which we hope to publish early next year."

Cllr Pearce said Winchester town is alive with activity and everyone needs to work together to keep it an attractive place to visit, work, and live.

The Town Forum will be held on Thursday on 4 November in the Winchester Guildhall at 7.00 pm.
