Christmas Car Parking in the City
Shoppers visiting Winchester will be able to enjoy free parking in a number of Winchester City Council car parks in the run-up to Christmas.The special Christmas car-parking concession of free "late-night Thursdays" car parking (excluding Colebrook Street and Chesil Street multi storey) is from 4pm on all late-night Thursdays up to and including Thursday 23 December.
In addition, the Park and Ride hours were extended from Monday 1 November to run until 9pm from Monday to Friday, which will enable late night shoppers on Thursdays to use this facility. There is also free car parking in the Tower Street car park on all Saturdays up to and including Saturday 18 December.
Further free car parking will also be available from 4pm each day from Saturday 18 December until Friday 24 December (inclusive) in all City Centre car parks (excluding Colebrook Street and Chesil Street multi storey), and Sunday parking will continue to be free over the Christmas period.
