Get a taster of working at Winchester City Council!
We are keen to invite applications for work experience from young people at school and colleges in Winchester district. Applications from university students from Winchester district requiring short-term unpaid work experience to complete their courses are also welcome. We cannot offer year-long paid internships. In all cases, applicants from inside the district will be considered before those from outside the district.
How to apply
- All applicants for work experience should fill our online Work Experience Application Form as a first step.
- Please also print out the Individual, Parent and Teacher Agreement form, found on the right-hand side of this page, which must be completed when you have received confirmation of your work experience placement. You must sign this document and if you are under 18 you must ask a Parent/Guardian to also sign it.. Please return this form by email to humanresources@winchester.gov.uk to arrive no later then 7 days before your work experience start date.
